Method
- Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook until golden and fragrant.
- Stir in the rice and toast it for 2–3 minutes.
- Pour in water and add salt. Stir once, bring to a boil, then lower heat and cover.
- Simmer for 15 minutes without lifting the lid.
- Turn off the heat and let it rest, covered, for 10 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork, add the last tablespoon of butter, and garnish if you’d like.
